After soaking in all the wonderful sights at the market, we’ll now take a stroll through a small part of downtown Anchorage…

Just a short distance from the market, we are greeted by these incredibly cute bears in their “Bear Air” airplane.

Here’s another wonderful way to see Anchorage – by trolley!

I’ve never been in here, but I wonder if this is one of those places where everybody knows your name?? 🙂

The Delaney Park Strip is a popular downtown spot where people get together for a variety of community events, sports and festivals. It is also host to the Veteran’s Memorial. On this day, a gentleman was sitting on a park bench flying this big, beautiful kite. It flew high and proud over the Veteran’s Memorial.

It certainly was a good day to fly a kite

That’s all for now. Thank you so much for joining me on the tour!! We’ll have to do this again sometime.

  1. The Weekend Market is quite extensive. They must do a good business. I also like that whale mural very much. Thanks for sharing Anchorage with us.

    • It is quite extensive, George. A lot of tourists visit the market, so I’m sure the merchants must do a really good business. I’m glad you enjoyed the tour. 🙂
