Record-breaking Snowfall

I hope you all had a very enjoyable Easter weekend! We had a great time here, and everything was wonderful -except the snow.

This past Saturday, we received 4.3 inches of snow, which brought the seasonal total to 134.5 inches – breaking the all-time snowfall record for a season by almost two inches.

Thankfully since then, the daytime temperatures have been in the 40’s, and the snow is melting. Even the huge snow piles around town are starting to shrink.

Hopefully, now that the snowfall record has been broken, we can finally say “goodbye” to snow and “hello” to flowers, greenery, and warm sunshine. 🙂

Have a wonderful week everyone!

  1. I will admit that I’m glad you kept all that snow up there. But now I hope you get some of our Spring weather.

  2. It’s sure beautiful though, and all of that snow will make for a great summer for the forests!
