Wow! I’ve always wanted to visit Alaska, but never got the chance. Thanks for your wonderful photos!
I hope you get the chance to visit one day, Betty. In the meantime, I’ll try to post photos as often as possible.

You’re welcome, Lynda! I’m a little behind on posting some of my Alaska photos, but I’ll try to get more put up soon.
Love your photos! I am originally from Alaska, now living in Idaho. Your pictures make me very homesick. Alaska is a beautiful place and someday I hope to return. Your whole blog is awesome! If I didn’t have 2 kids and a house to take care of I would probably sit here all day and read, lol. Thanks!
Alaska is the most beautiful place on earth…..and hope to return someday. Thanks for helping me to relive my visit through your website!

Beautiful photos of Alaska. You are so blessed to live there. I’m very envious.
I would like to know if the moose are aggressive and what do you do if you ever have any close encounters?
Moose are not normally aggressive, but they will act out aggressively if they are harassed. Also, during winter, when they’re hungry, and in the fall, during mating season, they can become aggressive. I have not yet encountered an aggressive moose, and hopefully I never will. When I see a moose near my home, or when I’m out hiking in the woods, I treat it with respect and keep plenty of distance between me and it, so that it doesn’t view me as a threat. I have a pretty good zoom on my camera lens, so I don’t need to get very close to them.
Thank you so much for your question Marianne, and thank you for visiting my blog!
