It’s getting down to the wire… there are less than four days until Christmas!! I can’t believe how quickly time is flying by, and I still have so much that I need to do.
I still want to bake some more cookies to add to my Christmas cookie platter, but since I still had a bit of holiday shopping to do this afternoon, I decided to make an easy no-bake treat today – No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares.
These delicious little squares taste very similar to a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and they are very easy to make. In fact, they are so easy to make, you’ll be in and out of the kitchen in no time, and ready to do more holiday shopping.
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup milk chocolate chips
4 tablespoons butter
In a large bowl, combine sugars, peanut butter, 1/2 cup butter, and vanilla. Mix with an electric mixer until well combined. Press mixture into an ungreased 13″ x 9″ baking pan.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine milk chocolate chips and 4 tablespoons butter. Microwave for 30-40 seconds, until chips are melted. Stir until smooth. Pour chocolate over peanut butter mixture.
Place pan in refrigerator and chill until firm. Cut into squares.
Store in refrigerator.
